Xiaoqing got her Master’s degree at the South China Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her previous work was exploring rice functional circular RNAs after Xanthamonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) infection. For her PhD studies, Xiaoqing will try to investigate host RNA structural changes in response to fungal infection.
